Director Antti Haase: "Monsterman is in fact a film about the courage to be yourself, even if you happen to be a heavy metal monster from 1980." This is the story of Tomi Putaansuu, frontman for the band Lordi, who won the Eurovision Songfestival in 2006. Now he finds himself broke, drowning in debt en without any gigs.
