Alert


Five screenings are showed on different materials under the title ALERT. The videos consist natural disasters, like earth quakes, hurricanes, floods and vulcanic eruptions. Those are fragments from Hollywood movies and documentaries. She asks herself: “What is our fascination for disasters that surround us” and “Why do we want to see them”. The images in this project surround the viewer, which makes him an accomplice. The viewer is in a realistic setting which at the same time is very artificial. He participates in this theatrical performance.
