Yetiscape


A dark green painted room is the perfect setting for his film Yetiscape, says the artist. It concerns an experimental movie inspired by the observations of the Yeti monster by his mother, playing as a child during wartime in the woods of Dahgestan. The Yeti sees nature as a mysterious force. Mania himself plays the Yeti in this video and strawls and runs through the landscape as a wild animal. The film is mainly about the landscape and shot from two points of view: Yeti's and the viewer's. The film was previously shown in the city of Bath and in the South London Gallery in London.
