Secondary Colors


A milestone in the work of Luining is the interactive installation BGO MUI*5” from 2002, in assignment of the Ministry of Works and Buildings. Stimulated by this project he starts to focus on the basics of computer software, that is: the computer code. His research on the browser ZNC 2004, which codes for colour and sound on webpages, led to a work of art that enlightens the mysterious definitions of software. In 2004 he registered the websites 00fff.com, ff00ff.com and fff00.com. Those three domains on internet are projected at large, side by side, on a wall under the title Secondary Colors.
