The Merrygoround


The world around us is full of impressions which astound and alienate us at the same time. Are we observers or participants? And when becomes the unknown familiar for us and the other way around? That is what fascinates Dominicus, who graduated this year from the Art School St.Joost in Breda. She will show a video installation entitled Merry go around. On four tv screens, placed in a circle and faced to each other, we see an individual walking around a table from one monitor to another. This introvert image can be seen as a statement.
