Dirty Brown Visual is the artist name of Joost Kosir, professional vj and video artist since 2000. He also studied animation and autonomic art at the Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam. This artistic centipede made performances in Dutch clubs like Off-Corso, Nighttown, Now en Wow en Las Palmas and on several festivals in Europe and further abroad. The Akbank International Filmfestival in Istanbul is one of the places where his films were shown. Besides he exhibited his work in China and Japan, where he lives since 2005. For the exhibition up2date Kosir presents an interactive media installation, in which he gives his point of view on spiritual dilemmas in the human existence.
